Description:
Valerian is an effective herb for treating nervousness, digestive issues, circulation and sleep disorders.

May be useful for but not limited to:

• Treatment for premenstrual pain.
• For any general pain relief.
• Helpful for yeast infections.
• High blood pressure.
• To stimulate digestion.
• Assist with sleep disorders.

Cautions or Contraindication:
Only to be taken for 2-3 weeks at a time with a break of 7 weeks in between. 5% of people may experience it acts as a stimulant instead of a sedative. It is advised to discontinue use if you experience this.

Serving Suggestions:
Steep 1 teaspoon, in a cup of hot water, for 20 minutes and cover. Drink 1-3 cups a day.  It’s advised not to used boiling water since the oils are volatile and evaporate at fairly low temperatures.
A great addition to make it more palatable is spearmint or peppermint.
